2022 TRIO COMPENSATION REPORT

The survey allows us to understand how well TRIO professionals are paid and how this impacts their quality of life by contextualizing income information with other realties such as job benefits, cost of living, expenses, job demands, demographics, and more. The purpose of the compensation survey and subsequent report is to gather and provide compelling evidence that allows for greater advocacy for TRIO professionals and better supporting them so TRIO can meet its important mission.

The 2022 TRIO Professionals Compensation report presents the findings of a survey administered from October 2021 to February 2022 by the Pell Institute. Survey respondents provided data for the 2019-2020 tax year in hopes that the data will inspire asset-based discussions and solutions to improve the quality of life for TRIO professionals. The survey was sent to all members of the TRIO community registered with the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE), which represents the ten TRIO associations. The survey was sent to a total of 7,812 people yielding a final sample size of 1,162 respondents.

The report is free for COE members, and costs $49.00 for non-members!
